TightVNC Multiple connections. Max Clients?

I read some conflicting things about this.

Const says "There is no such a connection limit in TightVNC."

But what are the limits in practice?
I need to show the same screen on about 60 pcs. Is anybody doing this
sort of thing? I have it working great with two clients, but am not
sure it will scale. (I read some threads where it appeared that they
did this with a lot [99?] pcs, but perhaps I misunderstood them).

Would I be dropping a lot of connections? What would performance be
like? (If I could get 6 frames a minute, I would be thrilled).

Thanks,

Brian

P.S. Yes I would love to use tightprojector for this. No, they will
not sell it yet.

The 99 VNC server limit per host I ran into is in the vncserver wrapper
script, not in Xvnc. That's 99 different users each displaying a different
desktop that runs on one physical server. Not 99 users connecting to one
VNC server process and looking at the same desktop.
